As a company that prides itself on social responsibility, Goodrich Global goes above and beyond in caring for its employees and contribution to society.
Going beyond Singapore, Goodrich Global continues to share its successes by giving back to the local community, with a focus on society development, support for the underprivileged, the Arts and environmental conservation. To date, the company has initiated activities in Thailand and Indonesia.
In line with our corporate philosophy of being positive agents of change, Goodrich Global employees and associates are encouraged to volunteer their time and enjoy the experience of giving back to the communities in which they work. In executing CSR activities, the company’s core values of Customer Centricity, Teamwork, Integrity and Continuous Improvement are put into practice.
In August 2016, Goodrich Global Indonesia participated in a design talk show with Lasalle to share about Goodrich’s kids collection. Here the company shared Walltalker as a presentation tool suitable for kids who love to express their creativity. The Goodrich’s kids collection of fabrics and wallcovering such as Scion & Eijffinger that are certificated for fire retardant were also presented.
In February 2016, Goodrich Gallery Semarang visited Akademi Teknik PIKA for the first time. The local school which specializes in design offers diploma courses in interior design and wood craft engineering. During the visit, the Goodrich team shared useful industry knowledge on wallcoverings and floorings with the aspiring designers.
In December 2013, Goodrich Thailand joining hand with Dec Media & partners to support The Orphanage Foundation of Thailand by redecorating a multi-purpose room in a combined space of 96 square metre into a classroom to give the students a better opportunity of learning, in a conducive setting.
From 2013 to 2016, Goodrich Global participated in the executive football matches to raise funds for ten charities. The players battled it out in 5‐a‐side futsal matches on the main pitch, cheered on by their colleagues and families from the grandstands making it an eventful and rewarding experience.
From 2003 to 2013, Goodrich Global has partnered with Asia Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA), a voluntary welfare organization with a mission to develop a range of services to help the less fortunate maximize their potentials.
Through fund-raising activities such as Goodrich- AWWA Charity Golf Competitions, Goodrich Global has helped raised more than $1 million for the non-profit organization which went to aid training programs for AWWA Caregivers.
In August 2014, Goodrich Global partnered with Mediacorp to sponsor its wallcoverings and flooring in a home make-over program RenovAID. Underprivileged families whose homes were featured had their homes and lives revitalized.
