Residential
Curtains @ Holland Park Residence
Project Overview
This residential project covered curtains for a home at Holland Park, a prestigious landed-housing area in Singapore. The interior called for soft window dressing that would bring warmth and a refined finish to the rooms while filtering daylight comfortably across the living spaces.
For this project, Goodrich Global supplied fabric for the day curtains.
Goodrich Specification
Fabric for day curtains was specified to soften incoming light and add texture, drape and a sense of comfort to the home’s interiors. Day-curtain fabrics filter the strong tropical sunlight while preserving an airy, open feel, diffusing harsh glare and tempering heat without darkening the rooms or closing them off from their leafy surroundings.
Beyond their practical role, the fabric’s weight and weave contribute warmth and an elegant, tailored finish that hard furnishings alone cannot provide. The gentle movement and fall of well-chosen drapery help each room feel resolved, inviting and considered as part of a coherent interior scheme, with the textile softening the acoustics of the space as well.
Project Outcome
The completed curtains give the residence a softened, comfortable quality of light and a refined decorative finish, balancing daylight management with the gentle character that drapery brings to a home. The effect is both functional and quietly luxurious, enhancing the comfort of the rooms throughout the day.
Goodrich Global supplies curtain and drapery fabrics to homes and developments across Singapore, offering an extensive range of textures and weights to suit any interior scheme, with guidance on selecting the right fabric for each space.
