Residential
Daniel Boey Residence, Singapore
Project Overview
The Daniel Boey Residence is a private home in Singapore where the interior called for a bespoke, expressive wall feature to reflect the owner’s distinctive design sensibility. The intent was for the wall itself to carry character and become a talking point rather than serve as a neutral backdrop to the room.
Goodrich Global supplied customised digital printed wallcovering for the project, creating a tailored design for the home’s walls.
Goodrich Specification
Customised digital printed wallcovering enabled a unique image or motif to be produced specifically for this residence, turning a wall into an individual statement piece that off-the-shelf finishes cannot replicate. The design is printed at high resolution onto a durable wallcovering base, so intricate detail and subtle colour transitions translate crisply at full scale while staying faithful to the agreed artwork, with the image scaled to the wall rather than tiled into a repeat.
The finished surface is colourfast and easy to wipe clean, holding its appearance in Singapore’s humid climate where lesser finishes can fade or lift at the edges. As a wallcovering it masks minor wall imperfections and stands up to the marks of normal domestic use, marrying creative freedom with day-to-day practicality so the feature looks as striking years on as it did at installation, without the fragility of a hand-painted mural.
Project Outcome
The digital print gave the Daniel Boey Residence a personalised, characterful feature wall that anchors the interior and expresses the owner’s taste, becoming a defining element of the space. Goodrich Global offers complete custom digital print capability, helping designers and homeowners across Singapore bring bespoke wall concepts to life on a durable, long-lasting medium suited to the local climate.
