Project Overview

Grandville Urbanist is a low-rise residential development in Bangkok, Thailand, completed in March 2016 with interiors by Anwa Design. As a residential project, its interiors needed durable, attractive wall finishes that would present consistently across multiple units and reduce the upkeep burden for future occupants.

Goodrich Global supplied the wallcovering used in this development.

Goodrich Specification

The project specified Goodwall Effect 6 GE3730 and Premierwall Vogue 3 PV6252. Goodwall Effect 6 brings textural interest and a contemporary finish to feature walls and living areas, giving each home a focal point with a depth that paint cannot match. Premierwall Vogue 3 provides a refined, durable surface for wider application across general wall areas.

Both are contract-grade wallcoverings that resist everyday wear, mask minor wall imperfections and maintain their appearance over time, making them well suited to a development where consistency and longevity are priorities. Their surfaces hold colour and texture far longer than emulsion, an advantage in Bangkok’s warm, humid climate where painted walls can mark and discolour. Specifying recognised ranges also helps the developer secure repeatable supply and a uniform standard of finish from one unit to the next, simplifying snagging and any later remedial work. A wipe-clean wallcovering further eases the handover to residents, who inherit walls that are practical to live with and simple to keep presentable.

Project Outcome

The completed homes benefit from a cohesive, hard-wearing wall finish that supports the development’s design intent across every unit, pairing a textured feature wallcovering with a dependable base finish for a balanced, lasting scheme. Goodrich Global supplies residential developers across Thailand and the region with broad wallcovering ranges and the supply consistency that multi-unit projects require.
