Residential
Landed house, Singapore
Project Overview
This landed house in Singapore is a private residence where the interior design called for refined, character-rich wall finishes to complement a considered family home. Premium wallpaper was central to establishing the desired mood across its rooms, setting a distinct tone in each space.
Goodrich Global supplied Eijffinger Wallpapers and Cole & Son Wallpapers for the home.
Goodrich Specification
Eijffinger and Cole & Son are both celebrated wallpaper houses, and pairing the two ranges gave the residence access to a broad design vocabulary, from contemporary patterns to heritage-inspired motifs. This allowed individual rooms to take on distinct personalities, perhaps a bold feature in a living area and a softer print in a bedroom, while sharing a consistent standard of quality and finish.
Both brands offer durable, high-quality papers well suited to residential interiors, delivering rich colour and finely rendered pattern that hold their appearance over time. Their pigment-stable inks and robust grounds resist the gradual fading and fraying that lesser papers can show within the comfortable, lived-in setting of a family home. Properly hung, these papers also sit comfortably against Singapore’s humid conditions, maintaining their crispness and adhesion where cheaper finishes might lift or discolour.
The breadth of these two collections gave the designer real freedom to curate the scheme, choosing complementary patterns and palettes that flow from one room to the next without repetition.
Project Outcome
The finished house enjoys a layered, characterful interior shaped by carefully chosen wallpapers, each room reading as part of a coherent yet individual whole. By drawing on two distinguished collections within a single scheme, the home gains both variety and a unifying quality of finish. Goodrich Global represents leading international wallpaper houses in Singapore, helping homeowners and designers curate distinctive residential schemes.
