Residential
Residential Baan Khun Ning Wassana, Bangkok
Project Overview
Baan Khun Ning Wassana is a low-rise single house in Bangkok, Thailand, completed in January 2017. The fit-out was handled by Goodrich Global’s own gallery team (CDC), with fabric playing the leading role across the home’s soft furnishings and window treatments.
Goodrich Global supplied the full suite of fabrics used in this residence.
Goodrich Specification
The home drew on an extensive fabric specification: Eijffinger Anta, Eijffinger Durban, Eijffinger Paris and Eijffinger Cortina, alongside Acacia Hometown, Acacia Mazza and Acacia Sunbeam. This breadth of textiles allowed the design to layer different weights, textures and patterns across curtains and upholstery, tailoring each room’s mood. Fabric brings warmth, acoustic softening and tactile comfort to a residence, and combining several ranges gives a coordinated yet richly varied interior.
Drapery weights were matched to their windows so that sheers diffuse daylight while heavier curtains provide privacy and temper glare, a useful balance in Bangkok’s bright climate. Upholstery textiles were selected for handle and resilience, ensuring that frequently used seating retains its appearance, while a shared tonal thread keeps the layered palette cohesive from room to room. Soft furnishings also absorb sound and add tactile warmth, helping a single house feel intimate and considered rather than sparse.
Project Outcome
The completed house enjoys a warm, layered interior in which a carefully curated fabric palette unifies the living spaces and softens their acoustics. Handling the scheme through the in-house gallery team allowed selections to be coordinated and tailored room by room. Goodrich Global supplies an extensive fabric portfolio for residential projects across Thailand and the region, supporting clients from selection through to a fully realised soft-furnishing scheme.
