Project Overview
This project was a residential apartment at Capitol Square in Surabaya, Indonesia. Apartment interiors require wall finishes that establish a comfortable, contemporary home atmosphere while standing up to the realities of everyday residential living within a compact, well-used footprint, where walls meet frequent contact.
Goodrich Global supplied its Widewall Space, Widewall Mixture and Widewall Select wallcoverings for the project, furnishing the wall finishes throughout the apartment.

The scheme drew on three complementary Widewall collections. Widewall Space, Widewall Mixture and Widewall Select are wide-width wallcovering ranges, a format that reduces the number of seams across broad wall expanses for a cleaner, more continuous finish and a faster, tidier installation with less material waste. Using several Widewall lines together allowed the designer to vary texture and tone between rooms while keeping the same wide-width practicality and durable surface throughout, so each space gains its own character without breaking the overall coherence.
Specifying these Goodrich Global Widewall products gave the apartment a coordinated yet layered wall treatment, combining efficient installation across large surfaces with a hard-wearing, easily maintained face well suited to Indonesia’s warm, humid climate. The wipe-clean surface resists everyday marking and tolerates the moisture and frequent cleaning a tropical home requires without lifting or discolouring.
