Project Overview
The Ritz-Carlton Residence in Bangkok, Thailand is a luxury condominium development, completed in December 2017 with interiors by 15 Degree Studio. As a high-end residence carrying a prestigious brand name, its interiors called for bespoke, gallery-quality wall finishes that signal exclusivity from the moment a resident arrives.
Goodrich Global supplied the custom handpainted wallcovering used in this project.

The residence featured Custom Handpainting Wallcovering XA50756 in the Design Shaw pattern. A handpainted wallcovering is the natural choice for a luxury condominium, delivering an artisanal, one-of-a-kind wall finish that machine-printed materials cannot replicate. Each panel carries the depth and subtle variation of hand application, lending the interior an exclusive, crafted character entirely in keeping with the Ritz-Carlton name.
Because each panel is produced by hand, colour and motif can be tuned to the scheme and aligned across feature walls, giving a continuous, considered composition rather than a repeating print. The result reads as commissioned artwork integrated into the architecture, a finish that rewards close viewing in private, high-value spaces and lends each room a sense of individuality. Applied to a stable, prepared substrate, the wallcovering also brings a more durable, considered surface than loose artwork or paint alone would offer, protecting the artistry through everyday residential use.
