Roller Blinds @ Holland Park Residence

Project Overview

This residential project covered a home at Holland Park, a prestigious landed-housing area in Singapore. The brief called for window furnishings that would manage daylight and privacy elegantly while integrating cleanly with the home’s contemporary interior and its larger expanses of glazing, which admit strong tropical light through much of the day.

For this project, Goodrich Global supplied motorised roller blinds for the residence.

Goodrich Specification

Motorised roller blinds were specified to give the homeowners precise, effortless control of daylight, glare and privacy across the residence. In Singapore’s bright, sunny climate, roller blinds are an effective way to moderate solar gain, helping reduce heat build-up and easing the load on cooling, while protecting furnishings, artwork and finishes from UV fading over time.

Motorisation adds convenience for larger or hard-to-reach windows and lets multiple blinds be adjusted together at a touch, or set to a preferred position through the day. The clean roll-up form preserves an uncluttered architectural look that suits the home’s contemporary scheme and keeps sightlines to the surroundings open and uninterrupted when the blinds are raised.

Project Outcome

The completed blinds give the residence comfortable, well-managed natural light with the ease of automated operation, allowing the occupants to fine-tune ambience and privacy without effort throughout the day. The result balances comfort, energy efficiency and a refined finish, complementing the architecture rather than competing with it and keeping the interior cool and inviting.

Goodrich Global supplies window-furnishing solutions, including roller blinds, to homes and developments across Singapore, pairing fabric quality with practical light and privacy control and advising on the right specification for each interior.
