Highlights From Goodrich Surface Edits 2026
On 28 July 2026, Goodrich Global welcomed the design community to Surface Edits 2026 at Masons Table, Singapore — a curation of performance-led wallcovering, fabric, carpet and flooring, brought to life through statement installations, global brand launches and CPD-accredited design clinics.
Where Surfaces Inspire, Ideas Take Flight
This year’s Goodrich Surface Edits was one for the books. Held at Masons Table, the event marked the latest curation of performance-led wallcovering, fabric, carpet and flooring.
The theme — “Where Surfaces Inspire, Ideas Take Flight” — paid tribute to spaces born of considered dialogue with their surroundings: interiors and architecture, craft and innovation, global outlook and local identity, all held in conversation. A crane poised in flight offered a witty nod to more than four decades spent honouring design excellence across hospitality, commercial, residential and beyond.
“As the industry evolves, so must we. I look forward to hosting next year’s event,” said Cheng Swee Ain, Chief Executive Officer of Goodrich Global, reflecting the spirit of an evening built around shaping the future of interior surfaces together.
The Welcome: A Living Gallery of Surfaces
At the entrance, a wallcovering installation beckoned, giving guests a first glimpse of the curation inside. Beyond it, a series of statement wallcoverings guided visitors through to a living-room-styled space — the installations doubling as striking photowalls before opening up to a lounge setting.
A sprawling, oriental-inspired lounger by Luxx NewHouse took centre stage, set against a statement wall that evoked a bucolic garden scape. The scene was flanked by vibrant landscaping from Ferns & Philo, whimsical mushroom-like sculptures, fabrics expressed through throw cushions, and carpet that added visual sumptuousness to the ensemble. Illuminating it all, Sol Luminaire’s iconic lights lent the space a warm, soothing glow.
Three Hallmarks, Fully Realised
At the heart of the event stood three hallmark pieces: a Pavoni leather wall, a Janelli + Volpi wallcovering, and an architectural bench designed by Zaha Hadid — carved from LX Hausys HIMACS acrylic solid surface and brought to life by the fabricators at Luxx NewHouse Group.
These were not props. They were full-scale, fully functional pieces — a demonstration of how surface materials move from sample to statement when craft and engineering work together. The Pavoni leather wall in particular showcased the tactile richness that has made natural leather a signature of Goodrich’s premium offering, echoing the Pavoni leather wall panels now available through Goodrich Global.
Design Clinics: Learning From Global Experts
Alongside the installations, Surface Edits 2026 hosted three design clinics — all SID Academy CPD-accredited — offering professional learning led by global industry experts.
“We’re here to showcase the ideas and trends shaping interiors, from Goodrich bespoke wall designs and digital craftsmanship to acoustic, wellness, commercial performance and sustainability solutions,” said Jean Leong, Regional Head of Marketing, Branding & Communications at Goodrich Global.
Goodrich’s global brand partners shared their own perspectives across the sessions:
- Janelli & Volpi — “Walls are becoming immersive experiences, not just surfaces,” noted International Sales Director Joseph Nakle.
- Pavoni Luxury Leather — Founder and CEO Alan Newberry made the case for natural leather as an enduring, planet-conscious choice over synthetic alternatives.
- J. Josephson — Export Manager Sebastian Heib reminded guests that wallcoverings are “meant to be beautiful and inspirational.”
- Sangetsu Corporation — Business Development Leader Jessie Yang highlighted the strength, rich texture and movement of Japanese paper-weave products, drawn from their long fibres.
- VERSA Designed Surfaces — International Sales Director Erik Langendorf spoke to an obsession with better ways to transform walls.
- Mohawk Group — Vice President of International Sales Richard Morris underscored a commitment to carbon-neutral flooring and market leadership in genuinely sustainable products.
Conversations, Connections and Discovery
Beyond the clinics, guests enjoyed an experiential guided tour of the latest material innovations and curated installations, alongside games and sure-win lucky draws. For many of the architects and interior designers present, the value lay in the exposure to new materials — the colour combinations, textures and product varieties they could picture bringing into live projects.
Goodrich Global extends its thanks to the industry partners who helped shape the experience, including Ardex-Quicseal Group, Ferns & Philo, Sol Luminaire and Luxx NewHouse Group.
Shaping the Future of Interior Surfaces
Surface Edits 2026 was, above all, a celebration of what surfaces can do when aesthetics, performance and innovation come together. As the industry evolves, so must the materials and ideas that define our spaces — and Goodrich Global looks forward to continuing that conversation at next year’s edition.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. Together, we will keep shaping the future of interior surfaces.
