Project Overview
This project was completed for Bangkok Airways in Bangkok, Thailand, an office fit-out delivered with interior design firm DWP in January 2017. As a corporate workplace, the interior needed flooring that balanced a professional appearance, acoustic comfort and the durability required for a busy commercial environment.
Goodrich Global supplied the carpet tiles used throughout the office.

The workspace was floored with a coordinated suite of Tuntex carpet tiles: The Globe T6521 and T6523, Mineral T10121, Network T9066N and Space Cloud T7071G. Carpet tiles suit a corporate office well, simplifying installation around workstations, allowing individual tiles to be swapped out in high-wear zones and dampening noise across open-plan areas where speech and equipment hum can otherwise build up.
Drawing on several Tuntex ranges let the design layer tone and texture to zone different parts of the office — circulation routes, collaborative areas and quieter desks — while maintaining a unified, professional aesthetic. A loop-pile contract construction holds its appearance under chair castors and the concentrated traffic of thresholds and lift lobbies, resisting the matting and pile-crush that lighter products suffer. Modular laying also means a soiled or worn unit can be lifted and replaced individually, keeping remedial work quick and contained. Beyond comfort, the carpet’s noise control supports concentration in open-plan settings, where unmanaged sound can undermine productivity.
Project Outcome
The office achieved an acoustically comfortable, visually cohesive floor engineered for the demands of daily corporate use, with zoning that aids wayfinding and easy tile-level maintenance. The coordinated palette gives the workplace a polished, branded feel that supports the airline’s corporate image.
