Chain Curtains at De Longhi Pop Up Store @ Robinsons

Share

Project Overview

This project covered the De’Longhi Pop Up Store at Robinsons in Singapore, where decorative chain curtains were used to define and dress the retail space and add a distinctive design feature to the brand activation. Set within a department-store floor, the activation needed a device that could carve out its own identity without enclosing it from the surrounding retail.

Goodrich Global supplied Kriskadecor fabric for the project, providing the metal chain curtain element for the store.

Goodrich Specification

The Kriskadecor chain curtains specified here are architectural metal-link screens that act as flexible space dividers and decorative features. They allow a degree of visual separation while letting light and movement pass through, preserving an open, inviting feel that suits a retail activation needing to draw shoppers in rather than wall them off. Their fluid, hanging form softens the edges of the space and gently animates as people move past.

As a durable anodised metal product, the chain curtains stand up well to repeated handling in a public retail environment, resisting the knocks and brushes of passing shoppers without tarnishing. They offer a striking, contemporary aesthetic, and their colour, link pattern and form can be configured to reflect the brand, turning a functional divider into a tailored feature within a department-store setting.

Project Outcome

The chain curtains gave the De’Longhi pop-up a memorable, design-led presence at Robinsons, creating a distinctive threshold and backdrop that set the activation apart from its surroundings. Their robust construction kept the feature looking sharp throughout the run, with no fading or sagging of the links.

Goodrich Global supplies specialist decorative fabric and screening solutions for retail and brand environments across Singapore, helping designers achieve distinctive, durable spatial features.
