Project Overview
This project was a commercial office fit-out in the Lavender area of Singapore, where the workplace needed a comfortable, professional floor finish able to cope with daily staff and visitor traffic. The brief looked for a surface that would stay presentable and quiet in regular use while reinforcing a considered, corporate look across the workspace.

Color Cube carpet was a strong fit for an office environment, combining underfoot comfort with the durability needed for sustained commercial use. Carpet in modular form is practical for workplaces, allowing individual sections to be lifted and replaced if worn or stained without recarpeting the entire floor, which keeps long-term maintenance simple and economical and minimises disruption to daily operations.
Acoustically, the carpet absorbs footfall and ambient noise, helping to create a calmer, more focused working environment in open-plan areas where sound would otherwise carry between desks. Its colour options let the design team reinforce the office’s visual identity, and modular tiles can be laid in blocks or accents to zone the floor and guide circulation. A dense, contract-grade construction resists matting and keeps the floor looking even through steady traffic. The tiles are also quick to lift for access to underfloor services and cabling, a practical advantage in a workplace where layouts and technology are periodically reconfigured.
Project Outcome
The office gained a comfortable, quieter and easily maintained floor that supports day-to-day productivity, with the flexibility to refresh worn or damaged areas tile by tile without a full re-lay.
