Project Overview
BodySOS Season 6 is a variety programme produced by Mediacorp, Singapore’s national broadcaster. Television sets are built and dressed quickly, then filmed under intense studio lighting, so the wall finishes used must read cleanly on camera and install reliably to a production schedule.
For this project, Goodrich Global supplied Wallstory and Mywall wallcoverings for the set.
Goodrich Specification
Wallstory and Mywall were specified to provide broad, even wall surfaces that photograph well, holding consistent colour and texture without the glare or seams that can distract on screen. A low-sheen, matt-leaning finish is valuable under broadcast lighting because it avoids the hotspots that the camera would otherwise pick up, keeping backdrops neutral and controllable.
Wide-format wallcoverings of this kind suit set construction because they cover large backdrop areas efficiently and can be installed at pace, while remaining robust enough for the handling that a working studio involves — repeated set changes, lighting rigs and crew movement. Their durability means a backdrop can be reused across episodes without showing wear, and a wipe-clean surface lets marks from cabling and equipment be removed between takes.
