What is Armani/Casa Graphic Elements wallpaper?

Graphic Elements belongs to the Armani/Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection. The three Graphic Elements editions share a graphic approach, but each takes a different journey.

Across the series, designs use a variety of supports, different printing techniques and textured surfaces. Metallic effects feature in several designs.

The three editions

Graphic Elements 1 Wallpaper

The first edition reflects Giorgio Armani’s approach to wallcoverings: refined, sophisticated and minimalist. It references oriental aesthetics seen through a Western lens. Some designs are inspired by patterned Japanese kimonos and by tsuba, the guards on traditional Japanese swords. Classic Armani/Casa patterns such as checkerboard and chevron sit alongside graphic takes on bamboo and cherry blossom.

The colours run from ruby red, sapphire blue and jade green to ice, ivory, gold, taupe and grey. Our product page lists 48 design codes.

The second edition is a journey through Mediterranean islands, including Pantelleria, an island Giorgio Armani often returned to for inspiration. Colour leads here: red, indigo, forest green, viridian and a deep petrol blue, balanced by elegant neutrals.

The designs include pleats that evoke trompe-l’oeil effects, from natural to vintage, linen-gauze textures with flowers and geometric shapes that create a Japanese feel, macro-brush effects, a moiré-style fil posé, a shagreen texture and a deconstructed checkerboard in tone-on-tone colours. Our product page lists 44 designs.

The third edition looks to the Far East. The Japanese islands, with their rich nature and long cultural history, inspired its patterns and textures. Strongly linear designs are brought to life through different supports and printing techniques, and through precious, material-rich surfaces. Geometries from Japanese tradition, such as lacquer work and origami, are reproduced on the walls. Our product page lists 49 designs.

Where Graphic Elements works in Singapore

These wallcoverings are listed as residential products, so they suit living rooms, dining rooms, master bedrooms and entrance foyers in condominiums, landed homes and larger HDB flats.

  • Feature walls. A single wall behind a sofa, bed or dining table shows off a textured design without overwhelming a room. Where practical, keep the other walls plain.
  • Air-conditioned rooms. Singapore interiors are humid. Use wallcoverings in rooms that are air-conditioned or well ventilated, and have the walls dry and properly prepared before installation.
  • Sunlight. West-facing rooms with strong afternoon sun benefit from curtains or blinds that soften direct light on the wall. See our guide to west-facing unit interior tips.
  • Care. Goodrich provides a Wallcovering Care & Maintenance guide. Dust gently and follow the guide before using any cleaning product.

Because these designs use varied supports and textures, ask for samples and view them on a wall at different times of day before you choose. For more on layout and matching, read our wallpaper pattern matching guide.

Styling ideas

  • Quiet, tonal rooms. Pair a tone-on-tone checkerboard or shagreen design with natural fabrics. Our article on quiet luxury at home covers the approach.
  • Jewel colours as accents. Ruby, sapphire or jade designs from Graphic Elements 1 work well in a study or powder room.
  • Layered with curtains. Coordinate with plain drapery in a related neutral so that the wall stays the focus.
  • Textured contrast. Place a metallic-accented design opposite a matte wall for subtle light shifts across the day.
