Project Overview
Altira Macau is a luxury hotel located in Taipa, Macau, recognised for its understated, design-led approach to high-end hospitality and its panoramic outlook over the peninsula. Interiors at this level rely on premium soft furnishings to add comfort, acoustic warmth and a sense of refinement across guest rooms, suites and public spaces.

Goodrich Specification
The specification drew on Goodrich Global’s fabric portfolio, used to deliver curtains, upholstery and soft accents in keeping with a luxury hotel brief. Carefully selected hospitality fabrics bring tactility and tone to interiors while meeting the performance and presentation requirements expected of a five-star property.
Drapery weights are chosen to hang cleanly and control daylight, while upholstery cloths are specified for abrasion resistance and colourfastness so that seating holds its appearance through sustained use. Beyond their visual contribution, well-chosen fabrics help soften acoustics and frame views, reinforcing the calm, considered atmosphere that defines a luxury hotel of this standing and contributing to the comfort guests associate with the brand.
Project Outcome
The completed soft-furnishing scheme reinforces the hotel’s calm, considered character and elevates the guest experience throughout its rooms and shared areas. The layering of textiles adds a sense of quiet luxury that hard finishes alone cannot deliver, softening hard surfaces and bringing warmth and tactility to each space. Together the drapery, upholstery and accents create a cohesive, comfortable interior that aligns with the property’s design-led positioning.
