Project Overview

The BMW Performance Motor Showroom is the marque’s flagship Singapore retail experience and one of the most demanding interior briefs in the local automotive sector. Premium automotive showrooms operate at the intersection of brand-grade visual quality, retail-grade durability under continuous customer traffic, and the operational discipline appropriate to a long-cycle high-value purchase environment.

Goodrich Global supplied the night curtain specification across the showroom, working within BMW’s global brand specifications and the dealer-group’s operational requirements.

Goodrich Specification

Night curtains in an automotive showroom serve two briefs simultaneously: visual privacy when the showroom is closed, and architectural softness during opening hours. The specification was for high-performance commercial curtain fabric with appropriate fire compliance, abrasion resistance, and visual quality for the BMW brand standard. Curtain hardware and tracking were specified to match the architectural intent of the showroom interior.

For premium automotive showrooms, curtain specifications coordinate with the broader interior — display floor flooring, customer-experience zone carpet and upholstery, and brand-language wallcoverings — to deliver a coherent showroom atmosphere. Goodrich’s project work in this category includes coordination across all these elements, with brand specification compliance maintained throughout.

Project Outcome

The BMW Performance Motor Showroom curtain programme is in service across the property. The project demonstrates Goodrich’s capability to support premium automotive retail with brand-aligned specification, working within the global brand framework while delivering on local operational requirements.
