Project Overview

Pink Bar is a hospitality and leisure venue in Thailand, where the interior atmosphere is a key part of the guest draw. A bar of this character relies on bold, expressive surfaces and soft furnishings to establish its mood and identity.

Goodrich Global supplied the wallcovering and fabric used in this project.

Goodrich Specification

The venue combined Goodrich wallcovering with Goodrich fabric. The wallcovering delivers a striking, durable backdrop that copes with the heavy use of a busy bar while reinforcing the venue’s visual theme, resisting scuffs and marks in a high-contact environment and wiping clean easily between sessions. The fabric introduces texture and comfort through upholstery or drapery, softening the space and lending it a tactile, designed quality. The pairing allows the interior to feel immersive while standing up to a demanding nightlife setting.

In a venue where lighting and mood are carefully controlled, the interplay of a textured wallcovering and richly coloured fabric becomes central to the guest experience, catching light and casting depth across the room as the evening unfolds. Sourcing both elements together ensured the palettes were tuned to complement one another under the bar’s atmospheric lighting, so colours read as intended rather than clashing once the lights are low.

Sourcing wall and textile finishes from one supplier also simplified coordination for the fit-out, letting the designers refine the scheme as a single, integrated palette rather than reconciling separate selections late in the programme.

The completed bar enjoys a characterful, atmospheric interior where wall and textile finishes reinforce one another to create a memorable setting. The materials combine visual drama with the resilience a high-traffic venue demands.
