Retail
King Power Phuket, Thailand
Project Overview
King Power Phuket is a retail destination in Phuket, Thailand, completed in December 2015 with interior design firm IA 49. As a flagship retail environment, the project called for striking, durable wall finishes able to reinforce the brand experience and draw shoppers through the space.
Goodrich Global supplied the wallcovering used in this project.
Goodrich Specification
The store combined digitally printed wallcovering with Widewall Surfaces WS4225 and WS4358. The digital print allowed the design to introduce bespoke graphics and imagery tailored to the retail concept, creating distinctive feature areas and visual cues that guide circulation. The Widewall Surfaces ranges provided a hard-wearing, textured base finish across broader wall expanses, covering large areas efficiently with few seams.
Together they balance custom visual impact with the durability a high-traffic retail interior demands. Concentrating printed graphics at key touchpoints while relying on a robust contract finish elsewhere keeps the scheme both expressive and economical to maintain, with surfaces that resist scuffing and wipe clean in a constantly used shopping environment. The wide-format base also reduces seam frequency on long runs, giving a cleaner, more uniform backdrop that holds up to the bag knocks and brushing of a busy floor. Well-placed graphics can further direct shoppers towards key displays and reinforce the brand story as visitors move through the store.
Project Outcome
The completed store presents a bold, brand-led interior backed by wall finishes engineered to withstand constant shopper traffic, with feature graphics that strengthen the retail identity and a robust base finish that keeps the space looking sharp. Goodrich Global pairs extensive contract wallcovering ranges with in-house digital printing capability, serving retail clients across Thailand and the region.
