Project Overview

Yume Sushi & Omakase in Ho Chi Minh City is a contemporary Japanese F&B concept with specification requirements consistent with premium-positioning sushi-and-omakase restaurants — refined visual atmosphere, operationally durable surfaces, and design vocabulary referencing Japanese craft and material tradition.

Goodrich Global supplied glass film across the property.

Goodrich Specification

Sangetsu CLEAS glass film was specified for glazed elements across the restaurant — addressing the four briefs CLEAS handles in commercial interiors: UV protection (interior textiles, leather, and timber are vulnerable to UV degradation), privacy modulation (sushi counters and dining bays often need controlled sightlines), energy management (Vietnamese tropical climate adds cooling-load through unprotected glazing), and decorative pattern expression (Japanese-craft patterns work particularly well as glass film designs).

Glass film selection also aligns with the Japanese-craft heritage of the Sangetsu product range — many CLEAS pattern references draw on Japanese decorative tradition, supporting the brand language Yume’s interior carries through its sushi-and-omakase concept.

Project Outcome

The Yume Sushi & Omakase glass film specification is in operational service. The project illustrates Goodrich’s capability to support Japanese-concept F&B in Vietnam, drawing on the Sangetsu craftsmanship heritage to deliver brand-aligned specifications that work technically and culturally.
