Harlequin Zamora: Embroidered Fabrics and Wallpaper in Singapore
Zamora is Harlequin’s new fabric and wallpaper collection for Spring/Summer 2026. It celebrates craft from around the world, including crewel and cross-stitch embroidery, jacquard ikats, kilim-style weaves and hand-painted prints, and reworks them in a muted, elevated palette for modern homes. Goodrich Global, the Singapore and Southeast Asia partner for Sanderson Design Group, now offers Zamora fabrics, weaves and wallpapers in Singapore.
This guide covers what is in the collection, which designs suit curtains, upholstery or walls, and how to bring Zamora into a Singapore home.
What Is Harlequin Zamora?
Harlequin is a British design studio founded in the 1960s, known for expressive colour and pattern. Every Zamora design was created in the Harlequin studio, and the printed fabrics and wallpapers are produced at the brand’s historic UK factories in Loughborough and Lancaster.
Harlequin’s lead designer, Flora Daly, describes Zamora as a global blend of the styles and influences the studio loves. Traditional weaving techniques are explored in a contemporary way, while digital printing brings the eclectic look to life in vivid but sophisticated colour. Several designs come from the Harlequin archive and have been repainted or rewoven for today’s interiors.

The Zamora Fabrics
The core fabric range leans on embroidery and print. Most designs suit curtains, blinds and cushions, and many are also rated for upholstery.
- Zamora: the title design, a stylised Jacobean embroidery with large leafy heads on a cotton-linen ground. A matching wallpaper is available.
- Kantha: a blanket-stitch embroidery inspired by Indian kantha work, telling a story of elephants, tigers, fish and peacocks.
- Ania: an abstract floral in a rhythmic, cross-stitch-style all-over embroidery.
- Kaleido and Lineas: crewel-stitch designs, one a zig-zag border stripe and the other a maze-like geometric.
- Morelia: a folk-inspired stripe with a wiggling corded thread that gathers beautifully as drapery.
- Cintilla: a printed ikat stripe punctuated with an embroidered stitch, in four colourways.
- Brocha and Zenith: printed cotton velvets from the archive. Brocha references Mexican street art; Zenith features overlapping exotic fruits and cacao beans.
- Ceiba and Indienne: printed cotton-linen designs, a hand-painted watercolour leaf and a repainted archive chintz.
- Elota and Rebozo: jacquard weaves, a flame-stitch ikat with a soft sheen and a large-scale kilim-inspired design.
- Ajal: a reversible stripe-and-ogee coordinate made with recycled polyester.

Zamora Weaves for Upholstery
A separate group of upholstery-weight weaves sits alongside the main collection, designed to cover sofas, armchairs and headboards:
- Derain: a small-scale velvet with varying pile lengths that suggest lily pads on water. It is rated for both domestic and contract upholstery.
- Kanagawa: a cotton-linen weave showing veils of cloud over Japanese hillsides, with an archival feel.
- Killim: a looser, playful take on ikat with earthy tones, greens and blues.
- Kuparr: a robust cotton-linen tapestry weave with a stripe of cacti, flowers and foliage, also available as a wallpaper.

Zamora Wallpapers
The wallpaper side of Zamora uses digital printing to carry the collection’s hand-painted artwork onto walls. Most designs are wide-width non-woven papers at 68.6 cm, which means fewer seams across a feature wall.
- Saltillo: a watercolour desert scene of cacti and succulents on a mica ground with a subtle sheen, printed with a 300 cm repeat so the scene reads like a mural.
- Indienne and Pintura: mural-scale designs, a panelled chintz and a Fauvist-inspired panel. Pintura is printed on wide-width vinyl, which suits busier spaces.
- Zamora, Zenith, Ceiba, Brocha and Kuparr: wallpaper versions of the fabric designs, so you can match curtains or cushions to the wall.
- Paisley, Spiralis, Tidam and Toluca: coordinates ranging from a Mexican-influenced paisley to a dainty star-like motif and a layered checkerboard stripe.

How to Use Zamora in a Singapore Home
Zamora is designed for layering. Each design in the design book lists “goes with” partners, so pairing a print, a weave and a wallpaper from the same collection is straightforward. A few ideas:
- A statement dining wall: hang Saltillo or Indienne as a mural and pick up one colour in Derain velvet on the dining chairs.
- A layered living room: use Zamora embroidery for curtains, a Kanagawa or Kuparr weave on the sofa and Cintilla cushions to tie the scheme together.
- A calm bedroom: pair Ceiba wallpaper with a Morelia or Ajal curtain for a softer, more restful take on the collection.
In Singapore’s humid climate, choose wallpapers installed by experienced installers on well-prepared walls, and keep heavy embroidered fabrics for drapery and cushions rather than high-wear seating. Velvets and tightly woven designs such as Derain are the better choice for daily-use upholstery. Our guides to embroidered fabric in interiors and mural wallpaper cover care and installation in more detail.

Is Harlequin Zamora available in Singapore?
Yes. Goodrich Global supplies Harlequin Zamora fabrics, weaves and wallpapers in Singapore as the regional partner for Sanderson Design Group. Designs are ordered to your requirements, and samples can be requested before you commit.
Can Zamora fabrics be used for upholstery?
Many can. Velvets such as Derain, Brocha and Zenith, and weaves such as Kanagawa, Kuparr and Killim, are rated for domestic upholstery. Some embroideries, including Kantha, Kaleido and Zamora itself, are recommended for drapes, blinds and cushions only.
