Sanderson x National Trust Volume II Fabrics in Singapore
Sanderson x National Trust Volume II is the second fabric collection created by Sanderson with the National Trust, the UK charity that cares for historic houses, gardens and countryside. This time the inspiration is Brockhampton Estate in Herefordshire, with its medieval manor, orchards and blossoming trees. The result is a collection of English garden prints, embroideries and weaves, now available in Singapore through Goodrich Global.
About the Collaboration
Sanderson, founded in 1860 and a Royal Warrant holder since 1924, is known for its florals, botanical illustration and archive of fabrics and wallpapers dating back to the 19th century. Its first National Trust collection drew on several of the Trust’s properties. Volume II focuses on a single place, Brockhampton Estate, and draws on its living heritage, from the moated manor house to its orchards and woodland.
The collaboration also gives back: Sanderson has committed a minimum contribution to the National Trust from sales of the collection, supporting the charity’s conservation work.

What Is in the Collection?
Volume II mixes prints, embroideries and weaves. Expect abundant gardens, birds hidden in branches and whimsical bestiaries, alongside rhythmic stripes and orderly trellises. Designs listed for the collection include:
- Brockhampton Estate: a print named after the estate itself, shown in colourways such as Woad and Forest.
- Paradise Woods Toile: a woodland toile, a classic choice for curtains and bedrooms.
- Moat Birds: a design of birds inspired by the moated manor, in colourways such as Fawn/Harvest and Damson/Cobalt.
- Spring Meadow: a fresh meadow floral.
Precise embroideries and finely sketched drawings sit alongside the prints, while the weaves provide stripes and textures to coordinate. Cotton, linen and other natural fibres give the designs a warm, authentic base. Browse the full range, including more than 40 references, on the National Trust Vol 2 fabric page.
Where to Use National Trust Volume II
Curtains and Roman blinds
Large-scale prints and toiles show at their best when they hang flat or in gentle folds. A Roman blind in Paradise Woods Toile or a pair of full-length curtains in Brockhampton Estate makes the window the focal point of a living room or bedroom. See our guide to curtain fabric for the living room.
Upholstery and headboards
The coordinating weaves and smaller-scale designs suit sofas, dining chairs and headboards. A woven stripe on a sofa with floral cushions is a classic English country combination.
Cushions and accents
The embroideries are a lovely way to add detail on cushions, ottomans or a bench seat, especially if you want to try the collection without committing to a large piece.
Hospitality
The collection is tagged for residential, hospitality, drapery and upholstery use on our site. Heritage-style hotels, guest suites, tea rooms and private dining rooms can use it to create a warm, English country house atmosphere.
Styling English Florals in a Singapore Home
- Balance pattern with plain: combine one main floral with a plain or a stripe from the same collection so the room does not feel busy.
- Repeat a colour: pick one colour from the print, such as a woad blue or forest green, and repeat it in cushions, a rug or painted joinery.
- Mix in natural materials: rattan, timber and linen sit naturally with garden-inspired fabrics and suit Singapore’s tropical setting.
- Protect from sunlight: hang a sheer or blind on sunny windows to protect printed curtains from fading.
