Hospitality
Aqueen Hotel, Singapore
Project Overview
Aqueen Hotel is a hospitality property in Singapore whose guest areas required soft flooring to balance comfort, acoustics and the durability expected of a working hotel operating around the clock. Corridors, lobbies and circulation routes see continuous movement, so the floor finish had to perform reliably under sustained, daily use.
Goodrich Global supplied carpet for the project, specifying a floor covering matched to the traffic and presentation needs of hotel interiors.
Goodrich Specification
Carpet was chosen here for its acoustic and comfort benefits in guest-facing spaces. Underfoot, it cushions footsteps and dampens the corridor and lobby noise that can carry through a hotel, absorbing sound that would otherwise echo off hard surfaces and supporting a quieter, more restful guest experience between floors and rooms.
A commercial-grade carpet construction provides the wear resistance needed in continuously used areas, withstanding rolling luggage and constant foot traffic without crushing or tracking. Patterned and textured surfaces help mask everyday soiling between deep cleans, and in Singapore’s humid climate the chosen construction holds its appearance well, allowing the hotel to maintain a consistently smart look across its public spaces.
Project Outcome
The carpet contributes to a comfortable, acoustically softer environment across Aqueen Hotel’s guest areas, helping the spaces feel calm and welcoming while standing up to the realities of constant occupancy. Its resilience keeps presentation high through heavy use, supporting the property’s standards and protecting the floor investment between refurbishment cycles.
Goodrich Global is an established carpet supplier to the regional hospitality industry, aligning durability, comfort and design across each property it serves, backed by specification advice for guest-facing interiors and a broad library of contract-grade finishes.
