Hospitality
Hong Kong One Silver Sea Hotel
Project Overview
One Silver Sea Hotel is a hospitality property in Hong Kong, China, where guest comfort and a sense of considered design define the interior experience. Wall finishes throughout guest rooms and public areas play a central role in establishing the property’s character and setting the tone of each space guests pass through.
Goodrich Global supplied the wallcovering for this project.
Goodrich Specification
Wallcovering was specified to give the hotel’s interiors texture, warmth and a durable, design-led surface. In hospitality settings, contract wallcovering is favoured for its ability to withstand the constant contact of guest traffic, luggage and housekeeping while maintaining a refined, consistent appearance that reads as intentional rather than utilitarian.
Its tactile surface lends guest rooms and public areas a depth that paint cannot achieve, helping the interiors feel layered and considered. The wipeable face allows quick cleaning and refreshing between stays, supporting the steady turnover a hotel depends on, while the durable construction also extends the interval between refurbishments, helping the property hold its standard cost-effectively over time. A consistent wallcovering specification keeps the look uniform across many rooms and simplifies later maintenance, since matching replacement material can be drawn from the same range. The texture also helps soften light and sound within rooms, contributing to the settled, comfortable feel that defines a well-judged guest interior. Specifying a contract-grade wallcovering rather than a domestic paper also ensures the finish can cope with the heavier, more frequent contact a hotel generates without losing its composed appearance.
Project Outcome
The finished walls contribute to a welcoming, well-appointed guest environment in keeping with the hotel’s positioning, and continue to present well under everyday use. Goodrich Global supplies hospitality wallcovering to hotels across Hong Kong and the wider region, supported by extensive collections and specification expertise.
