Project Overview

Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, Tower 1, is part of one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, a world-class destination of hotel, leisure and event spaces. Finishes within such a property must meet the highest design standards while withstanding intense, round-the-clock use by large volumes of guests. As a flagship resort that anchors the city’s skyline, its interiors are held to an exacting standard where both appearance and contract performance matter.

Goodrich Global supplied fabric for the project.

Goodrich Specification

Fabric was specified for applications such as upholstery, drapery or decorative panels, where the material must combine a luxurious appearance with the performance demanded by a flagship resort. Commercial-grade fabrics offer durability, colourfastness and resistance to abrasion and fading, standing up to the wear of high-occupancy hospitality use.

The right fabric also contributes texture, comfort and acoustic softening to interior spaces, helping to absorb sound in large, busy areas and reinforcing the resort’s premium atmosphere. Hospitality fabrics are selected to withstand frequent cleaning and constant guest contact while keeping their hand, drape and finish over time. In a landmark resort, that combination of softness and resilience helps interior spaces feel both inviting and impeccably maintained.

Project Outcome

The fabric supports the resort’s luxurious, finely detailed interiors while performing reliably in service across some of Singapore’s most heavily used spaces. By combining a refined appearance with contract-grade resilience, it helps the property sustain its standards under relentless occupancy. Goodrich Global supplies an extensive range of commercial and decorative fabrics to landmark hospitality projects across Singapore, with collections chosen for both aesthetics and performance.
