Project Overview
The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Innovation Centre at Nanyang Drive is one of NTU’s research-and-translation facilities, supporting research collaborations, industry partnerships, and innovation programmes. Innovation centre interiors operate at the intersection of research-grade functional requirements and external-stakeholder visitor experience — research teams use the space daily; industry visitors and government delegations form impressions during tours and visits.

Goodrich Specification
Carpet tile was specified across collaboration zones, meeting rooms, and circulation areas. The specification combines acoustic absorption (collaboration spaces generate concentrated speech activity that benefits from controlled reverberation), modular replaceability (innovation centres reconfigure as programmes evolve), and visual quality at research-and-industry-grade. SGBC certification supports NTU’s broader sustainability programme.
The specification coordinates with NTU’s design language for innovation and research facilities, with a consistent visual scheme across the building’s principal zones.
Project Outcome
