Project Overview
River View Hotel is a riverside hospitality property in Singapore, where the interior scheme combined soft and decorative finishes to create a comfortable, welcoming guest environment. Floor and wall surfaces work together to set a relaxed yet polished tone throughout the property, balancing the warmth guests look for with the resilience a working hotel demands across its guest floors and shared spaces.

Carpet was specified to bring underfoot comfort, warmth and acoustic absorption to guest corridors and rooms, helping to dampen footfall and create the quiet atmosphere travellers expect. A hospitality-grade carpet construction also withstands the heavy, continuous traffic of a hotel, retaining its appearance through repeated cleaning and resisting the crushing and soiling that come with constant use.
The wallcovering complemented the floor with durable, easily cleaned wall surfaces that resist scuffing from luggage and passing guests, while offering the pattern and colour needed to set the interior’s tone. Pairing the two finishes from a single source kept the palette coordinated and the overall scheme hard-wearing and visually cohesive, with floor and wall treatments designed to work as one.
Project Outcome
The combination of carpet and wallcovering gives the hotel a comfortable, acoustically softer and well-finished interior that performs reliably in service and is straightforward to maintain. Specifying both finishes together also simplified coordination and helped keep the design consistent from floor to wall.
