W Hotel – Corridor Wall, China

Share

Project Overview

This project covered the corridor walls of a W Hotel in China. Hotel corridors are high-traffic transitional spaces that set the tone between public areas and guest rooms, so their wall finishes must combine visual impact with the resilience to withstand luggage, trolleys and constant passage day and night.

Goodrich Global supplied a custom digital print wallcovering for the corridor, delivering the bespoke graphic surface along these key circulation routes.

Goodrich Specification

Custom digital print wallcovering was specified to give the corridors a distinctive, brand-aligned identity. Digital printing allows large-format, continuous artwork to flow along corridor walls, producing a striking and cohesive look that reinforces the hotel’s design language and carries the guest journey from the lift lobby to the room door.

The wallcovering substrate provides a durable, cleanable surface engineered for the demands of hospitality corridor traffic, resisting the scuffs and marks that luggage and trolleys inevitably bring. Its hardwearing face also tolerates the repeated cleaning a hotel’s housekeeping regime requires without dulling or losing colour. Specifying Goodrich Global custom digital print meant the W Hotel could realise a tailored graphic concept across its corridors while relying on contract-grade material built for intensive guest use over a long service life.

Project Outcome

The completed corridors gain a memorable, hard-wearing wall treatment that strengthens the guest journey and the hotel’s brand presentation. By carrying a continuous graphic along the circulation route, the scheme turns a purely functional space into a designed part of the experience, while the contract substrate absorbs the daily knocks of luggage and housekeeping without showing premature wear.

Goodrich Global delivers custom digital print and commercial wallcovering to hospitality projects across China and the region, pairing creative flexibility with proven contract durability.
